I read Mr. DeBaggio's book Losing My Mind and wanted to say that I was deeply touched. I knew next to nothing about Alzheimer's before I started, and had not realized before how painful an affliction it must be for the family. My heart goes out to you, and I'll certainly keep you in my prayers.

No matter how warm the weather, how clear the sky, spring hasn't arrived until DeBaggio's doors open for the season. Looks like another fabulous year for my herb garden, thanks to you.

I was talking on the net about the first rosemary plant (Arp) that I bought at the Ivy Street shop way back when. It grew to 4' tall and was a wonderful plant only to succumb to an ice storm. Tom's catalogs were wonderful to read and had me salivating over future uses for the wonderful herbs.
I hope to visit the nursery in the spring because I fear for my current plants under a couple of feet of snow here in Annapolis. But you never know!

Of the many things I miss about living in the Northern Virginia Area are the lovely spring days, the crocuses pushing up through the melting snow, and the thought of growing tomatoes. The plants I had purchased from the DeBaggio Family produced the most beautiful tomatoes I had ever had the pleasure to consume; they were consistently healthy, and sprouted lovely red jewels of fruit. I only wish I could find plant of that caliber where I am now.

I'm having a hard time waiting for your March 29th opening. The internet site helps. I'm planning on tapping an even wider selection of heirloom tomatoes, vegetables and herbs this year. You have the healthiest plants I have ever purchased-- they transplant easily and produce sooner. My mom is coming with me to buy more oatmeal soap that keeps dry skin in check, especially during the winter.

I love the earthy feel of your website. It's lovely. I live in Ft. Lauderdale but would love to visit your store with all the beautifully scented soaps.

Thanks for another great internet site. This is what the internet was designed for, not spam and porn!

I have listened to part of your story on NPR. Touching feature about a special family. Now, living in the area and looking over your website eagerly, I love what I see: good gardening and attention to details from people who care about what they are doing. I also love the appreciation you show for simple things... the animal photos, for example. I plan to visit, and I think yours is a needed place of green and peacefulness in a busy world. (I'm sure your hard workers don't always find it so "peaceful" of course!)
Thanks.
